As mindlessly as a child sits by a tree and begins building castles in the air, this Air Castle was conjured up by three friends who somehow found in each other people who could help them dream the things they want to dream, and say the things they want to say.
Bonded by a search for something more, they saw music as a way of climbing above everyday occurences to reflect on, appreciate, yet also indulge in the experiences of life. They met up simply when they felt like they had to, and the result was a serendipitous collection of songs with contemplative lyrics overlying simple acoustic melodies.
Air will remain air however, and the slightest change in environment may well cause its parts to be swept off to different places. Yet, these songs have become a way of solidifying the here and now, and of making an imprint of the thoughts and emotions we feel now. While life goes on and things change, we hope what is Now will be safely kept above in our Air Castle.
Perhaps on a rainy day in the near future, you will to take some of these songs out to listen to, and they will help bring you back to a special moment, an important person, or a long-held desire. However, if none of these are where you want to go to, then just close your eyes and let the music take you away, off into your very own Air Castle, where you may dream, feel and be free.
